Olugbenga Agboola is best known for being the co-founder and CEO of Flutterwave, a company that is based in both San Francisco, CA. and Lagos, Nigeria. Flutterwave is a digital payment infrastructure that is designed to help banks and businesses ensure secure payments. This financial software was created in 2016, and was created with the help of both Mr. Agboola, Iyinoluwa Aboyeji and many other banking professionals and digital payment professionals from organizations such as Standard Bank, PayPal, Google wallet and Andela.

He secured his Master of Business Administration degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, or MIT, from the Sloan school of Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He then obtained IT Security Certifications from the EC-Council University in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Following that, he obtained a Project Management and Advanced Computing Degree from the University of Westminster, located in Longon, England. Prior to starting Flutterwave, Mr. Olugbenga Agboola also held many different types of jobs that provided him with the skills and knowledge that he would later need to start his own successful business. Some of the positions that he has held include working as an application developer for British Telecom Professional Services, as an application engineer for Paypal, as part of the enterprise infrastructure solution development team for Guarantee Trust Bank and as the transactional product development manager for Standard Bank. He then advanced further in his career and became the technology product developer and project manager at Standard Bank Nigeria, the head of the mobile financial services at Sterling Bank, a Google product manager with Google, a senior entrepreneur in residence at Africa Fintech Foundry, and an entrepreneur at Royal Bank of Scotland Business.
Today, Olugbenga Agboola is most well known for being the CEO and co-founder of Flutterwave, a digital payment infrastructure that is huge in Africa. However, that is not the only position he currently holds. Mr. Agboola is an entrepreneur who is still working to develop new companies, including fintech solutions. He is also a financial technology engineer, a certified ethical hacker, a certified security analyst and a Microsoft certified system engineer.
